We’re now at the end of the three days of another fantastic UKREiiF conference and before (like many of the delegates!) I look forward to a chilled out Bank Holiday weekend to recover I wanted to write about what a fantastic opportunity this conference is for anyone in the property sector.
I’ve attended all three UKREiiF conferences in Leeds and it has always been a joy to work with the fantastic team – everyone from the brilliant Matt Christie and Nathan Spencer all the way to the helpful staff in red T-shirts offering advice and directions. Not even the Yorkshire rain could spoil things!
UKREiiF gets bigger and better every year and is becoming not just a desirable and useful – but an essential event in my calendar.
It is a once a year opportunity to get many of the key players from the property industry, public sector and corporate bodies in the same room – and that value has increased year on year as more people take part. Often you can bump into someone while walking to an event or at a drinks reception which can lead to a potential opportunity – and we’ve had many of those for CRT Property this year.
We were also fortunate to have a speaking role on a panel this year. Our Head of Policy & Communications, Kevin Larkin , joined a panel hosted by Walsh - Structural, Civil & Geotechnical Engineers and Chaired by Peyrouz Modarres to talk about how CRT Property generates social value in some of the most deprived communities across the UK through using it’s taxable profits to support to charitable work of the Coalfields Regeneration Trust .
UKREiiF is a crucial part of our calendar – and I’d definitely say it should be part of yours in 2025!
Shaun
